About Me
When I was three and crayons were my preferred medium, I drew life-size playmates on my bedroom walls. In the decades that followed, I discovered paint, clay, glass, fabric, metal, gemstones, and my computer's word processing program .I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature which prepared me for not much of anything and, paradoxically, almost everything. I question many things but there is one thing I never doubt. I am an artist.

About My Art I'm drawn to dualities: dark/ light, smooth/rough, transparent/opaque, yet I'm also compelled by the in-between spaces, where paint on canvas suggests depth, a lump of clay resembles form, rigid metal softens, or a jumble of words suggests story. For me, art is about the journey rather than the destination. It's the Process of Becoming where true alchemy exists.
