Because... It's all About Me!
About MeWhen I was three and crayons were my preferred medium, I drew life-size playmates on my bedroom walls. In the decades that followed, I entertained myself with paint, fabric, clay, glass, metal, gemstones, and my computer's word processing program.I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature which prepared me for not much of anything and, paradoxically, almost everything. I question many things but there is one thing I never doubt. I am an artist.

About My Art I've always been drawn to dualities: dark/ light, smooth/rough, transparent/opaque, yet I'm particularly attracted to the in-between spaces: where paint on canvas suggests shape, a lump of clay resembles form, thoughts and words hint at story. Metal eases under the torch until it melts and strengthens under the hammer until it's brittle. For me, art is about finding that sweet spot, that in-between. Isn't that where alchemy exists?
